Raised Voices granted funding to create audio trail of memories

Raised Voices has been granted support from Liverpool BID’s Art & Culture Fund to create an audio trail shaped by people’s memories.

Liverpool Time-slips will be a self-guided exploration of the city’s rich history of creativity and resilience, taking in cultural venues across the city centre. Inspired by the urban legend of the Bold Street time slip, the trail will invite visitors to follow an online map through the streets to unlock audio stories told in real people’s voices.

Raised Voices is dedicated to helping people tell their stories in their own words and Liverpool BID’s support means we can collect and share people’s memories of this wonderful city in a new way. We are also excited about working with some of the city's talented creatives in bringing the trail together.

We will be holding drop-in sessions where members of the public can tell us their stories - with details to be announced soon. We are also keen to hear from anyone else who would like to be recorded for the project.
