Raised Voices is thrilled to be supporting the Public Interest News Foundation’s Indie News Week 2026 by offering free training and consultancy to its members.

Co-directors Laura Davis and Maeve Connolly, who have both led on audience engagement strategy in major newsrooms where they launched multiple newsletters, will run a hands-on workshop sharing 10 Tactics to Grow Your Newsroom’s Mailing List.

They will also hold 60-minute consultancy sessions for five independent news publishers focusing on manageable strategies for tackling their biggest audience engagement challenges.

The sessions will be held in the run up to Indie News Week, which takes place 15-21 June, so that publishers will be in a strong position to promote their great work.

Applicants must be members of the Public Interest News Foundation (PINF) and be taking part in Indie News Week. Details of how to apply can be found in the INW toolkit sent out to members.
